Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the No The Endmobile application ("the App") for Android and iOS, published by the No The End team ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. The App

No The End is a distraction-free PDF reader designed for a parent or caregiver to read PDF books to a young child on a tablet. The App resists unintended touches so reading sessions stay calm and uninterrupted.

2. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the applicable app store's terms (Google Play Terms of Service or Apple Media Services Terms).

3. Your content

The App opens PDF files you choose from your device. You are solely responsible for the books and files you load into the App, including ensuring you have the right to use them. We do not host, scan, upload, or claim any rights over your content; it never leaves your device.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the App to view content you do not have the legal right to read or display.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except as expressly permitted by law.
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or the rights of others.
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the App.

5. Children

The App is intended to be operated by a parent or caregiver while reading to a child. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. 6. Intellectual property

The App, including its name, branding, design, code, and assets (excluding your content), is owned by the No The End team and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

7. Updates and changes

We may release updates to the App through Google Play and the Apple App Store. We may also modify or discontinue features at any time. We will post material changes to these Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE NO THE END TEAM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (WHICH MAY BE ZERO).

10. App store terms

Your download and use of the App is also subject to the terms of the app store you obtained it from:

• Google Play: Use is governed by the Google Play Terms of Service.
• Apple App Store: Use is governed by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, including the Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). You and we acknowledge that these Terms are between you and us only, not Apple, and that Apple is a third-party beneficiary entitled to enforce them.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your license if you violate these Terms. Sections 3, 6, 8, 9, and 12 survive termination.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your jurisdiction of residence to the extent required by local consumer protection law; otherwise, by the laws of the United States. Mandatory consumer protections in your country continue to apply.
